Desk: Vigilant troops of BOP Rangiyapota Adhoc South Bengal BSF apprehended two Bangladeshi minors while they were carrying wheat bran sack in the bordering area of District -Nadia ,West Bengal.
On 10 March, 2021 vigilant troops of BSF were on a routine patrolling at the area of Border Out Post Rangoyapota. At about 1350 hrs patrolling party noticed some suspicious movement of two Children along with two big sack near International Boundary.
Patrolling party challenged them and on hearing the challenge the children stopped and resultantly patrolling party apprehended them and brought them to Border Out Post Rangiyapota for further investigation.
During Preliminary Questioning apprehended Children revealed their identity as under:
1) Milan Ali S/o Nur Islam ali age 12 years.
2) Sudeep Hussian S/o Noushad ali, age 12 years.
Both are from vill -Thakurpur, PO- Munshipur, PS- Damarhudda, Bangladesh.
Further they revealed that they have been instructed by a person named Halel of village Thakurpur, Bangladesh to get the sacks from the house of Aarju Bibi Mondal and he promised to pay them 60 Taka each for this work. While they were returning after taking those sacks the BSF party confiscated 55 Kg Wheat bran in two sacks.
Seized item had been handed over to Custom office Majdhia.
Border guard Bangladesh approached to BSF along with their parents for taking over their children. BSF considered the request as the apprehended persons were minors. BSF also insisted BGB to take action against the miscreant who involved these minors in this kind of illegal act.
BSF is committed to curb all types of Trans border crimes on INDO- Bangladesh Border and those who commit crimes are caught and dealt as per the gravity of crime.
