Sarthak who topped the school in grade 10 ICSE exams said, “” The previous two years have been extremely challenging for me in terms of the preparations for my board exams. I am very grateful to my school for its support and guidance throughout these tough times. The cancellation of board exams and announcement of an assessment policy came as a surprise to me but my co-operative parents and teachers motivated me and made me understand the policy of assessment. I am happy with my result and thank my parents for their immense support and teachers for their valuable guidance during the entire year”.

Echoing the sentiments of students, Dr .Priti Shrimal, Principal BHIS Vadodara said, “These were challenging times with uncertainty looming large on the status of exams. But the teachers and students held the fort and conducted the assessments and evaluations in full earnest. There were mixed feelings of disappointment, jubilation, confusion among student/teacher and parent community with the decision of cancellation of Council exams. The school then embarked on counseling sessions for parents and students to mitigate and resolve all queries. The students were assessed as per a   predetermined evaluation pattern based on their Grade 9 and 10 performances. The results validate the merit of every student justifying the persistent efforts of both students and teachers. We appreciate the resilience, patience, and hard work of every student. A lot of mentoring was done by the teachers to keep them afloat, catering to their social, emotional, and intellectual needs. When the going gets tough the tough get going – this holds for the students and teachers who converted all challenges into opportunities. Gratitude also to the parents for reposing their trust and faith in the school.”
