Asha Audio, the renowned music label, has been championing the ritual of releasing Durga Puja special songs for years now. Today, they launched one of the most anticipated singles, Brishti. The song, composed by the talented duo Shiladitya-Som features the talented playback singer Anwesshaa. Brishti, which promises to be a soul-stirring addition to the festive celebrations was launched by ace composer Mr Debojyoti Mishra in the presence of Ms Apeksha Lahiri, Director, Asha Audio at the city’s only retro dining restaurant, Chapter 2.
Anwesshaa, known for her captivating voice and exceptional singing prowess, has lent her melodious vocals to Brishti. With a career spanning various genres and languages, Anwesha’s contribution to this song promises to be nothing short of magical. Soham Majumdar has penned the lyrics for the song.
Brishti is the first project together for Shiladitya-Som as co-composers. They bring a wealth of their musical experiences to the song. Despite a successful career in the Communications and Food & Beverage industries, Shiladitya has passionately dedicated over two decades to the world of music, creating numerous memorable compositions that have resonated with audiences far and wide. Som Chakraborty, on the other hand, is a versatile music arranger and sound designer who has been a part of many a popular song, and also skillfully paired with Shiladitya for many successful musical projects.
