Recently, Founder of the eminent musical organisation ‘Jalsaghar’, Rabin Paul was felicitated with life time achievement honour by Anubhav Anandam held at the Rotary Sadan. Rabin Paul has been organising successful Indian Classical Music Conferences since long 57 years. His enthusiasm and enterprising involvement as an organizer, in true sense, in this field has become legendary. Eminent personalities like Sankaraal Bhattacharya, Anup Motilal, Biswajit Motilal, Pt. Samar Saha and Debasish Basu were present on the occasion.
The Rotary Sadan auditorium witnessed an extraordinary celebration of Sitar recital by virtuoso Pandit (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chakraborty, accompanied, on the tabla, by Pandit Samar Saha, who are both world renowned figures in the field of Indian classical music. The audience was captivated by the exceptional performances which included melodious ragas and will remain etched in the memories of the audience.
