A treat for book lovers in city

Book worms in the city are in for a treat as Kitab Lovers have organized a four-day book fair(from July 28th-31st) that is currently attracting hundreds of people at the Singhi Palace, Gariahat, Ballygunge.
Book lovers from all corners of the city have been thronging the fair since the first day and almost every reader was seen purchasing books according to their need.
Books ranging from mythology, history, current affairs, biographies, memoirs, politics and others have become the cynosure of all eyes with book lovers browsing through them to get an idea about themes and issues covered by different authors.
Book fair organizer, Rahul Pandey, co-founder of Kitab Lovers said, “Our aim behind organizing this book fair is to connect people with books. The entry is free here as we want more and more people to come here. At Kitab Lovers, we are on a mission to encourage and improve the reading habits of Indians.”
He added, “We have carefully curated the range of books available at the book fair to ensure that there is something in it for every book lover out there. So from a toddler to a senior citizen, whether you prefer a romance novel or crime fiction or historical novel, or even self-help books, we have it all available at our fair. Through our ‘Load the Box’ campaign, we want to encourage more youth to spend time away from their gadgets and instead immerse themselves in the wealth of knowledge that a book can offer”.
