EV Mela in Delhi gets overwhelming response

Chargeup, the company building a Fine-Tech platform solving the adoption and management of EVs for last-mile mobility drivers, recently concluded its first-ever EV Mela in Delhi (Uttam Nagar) to an overwhelming response. About Rs. 1.5 crore worth of electric vehicles were booked in the event that was attended by over 1000 drivers.

 

Sh. Jogi Ram Jain, Ex-Chairman, of the Standing Committee, NDMC was the Chief Guest for the event. There was a panel discussion on the EV ecosystem and its future with Varun Goenka, Co-Founder & CEO, of Chargeup; Ayush Lohia, CEO, of Lohia Auto; Nitin Bhardwaj, Institutional Sales, Hero Electric; Rajeev Seth, VP-MSME, PaisoLo Digital; and Shikhar Agarwal, Program Manager – Electric Vehicles, Zomato.

 

Chargeup endeavored to bring together stakeholders including NBFCs, EV OEMs, e-commerce and food commerce companies such as Hero Electric, Lohia Auto, Shema Electric, GEM, PaisaLo, Zomato, Blinkit, Rapido, and Uber to benefit the last mile mobility community. The event has been hailed for its uniqueness and motive.

 

Speaking about this, Varun Goenka, Co-founder, and CEO, of Chargeup, said, “This event is another step taken by Chargeup in empowering the last mile mobility community through resolving their cost and convenience issues.
